We really enjoyed our stay in "villa kos" this summer! We were 4 included two children (5 ansd 6 years old). The houses are pretty, very clean and well equipped (oven,dishwasher..). Each have a very nice view to the sea which is about 300m away. A barbecue is available for the fresh fish provided by Leonidas! We definitively recommend this rental. My first experience as renter on homelidays was more a success than expected. Blandine and Leon's hospitality made our holiday in Greece unforgettable. The house was new, modern, clean, well equipped, tasteful furnished, with comfortable beds, full of light and with an extraordinary view on the sea. The tips suggested for itinerary's and eating places were perfect and precious. On our arrival, we found water, juice and milk in the fridge. Easter morning we found a typical greece easter cake in front of our door and for the joy of our two children, the garden were full of chocolate eggs, at lunch we were invited, with the other guest of Villa Kos to a wonderful easter lunch on the beach with goat, saziki and Greek live music. On our departure we received a nice souvenir from the couple S., we nearly felt embarrassed for there goodness and hospitality. Turning home was difficult not only because we left the fantastic island of Kos, but also for the kindness and the perfect hospitality received from Blandine and Leon.

The villa lived up to our internet expectations; the high points being the cleanliness, sunsets and views, peaceful position and the friendly welcome and extreme helpfulness of Blandine and Leonidas. We enjoyed getting to know them and our neighbours at the “welcome meal”. We explored the island and particular highlights were the Knights Castle and lunch at Aghios Theologos. We enjoyed the greek simplicity of Troulos Beach. Also made full use of facilities at Marmari Palace Hotel – loved the pool and boys enjoyed playing international football 5pm every day all ages welcome (we are 18,21 and 52!) . We had a wonderful time at Kos ina very good holiday villa. The second day of our holidays we were surprised to be invited for a real greek dinner. We loved the songs and the music. The houses at Villa Kos are pretty much everything you could want in a holiday villa: spacious, airy, comfortable, easy to keep tidy, and with fantastic views and a glorious sunset every night. Everything was clean, working properly, and just as described on the website. And if there were any problems, Blandine and Leonidas were always around to sort it out.
B & L are great hosts. They took us out for a welcome meal and were full of advice on things to do and places to go. They helped organise a trip to the neighbouring island of Nisyros.
Villa Kos is on a quiet stretch of the north coast. If you're into partying and nightlife, it's perhaps not the best place. The nearest town (5 minutes away by car) is nice but pretty sleepy. If you want peace and quiet, however, this is the place. You have your own space to relax, but within easy walking distance there is a small shop, a great pool, a beach with watersports, the Lido waterpark (popular with kids), and several good restaurants, some overlooking the beach.
To get the most of the rest of the island, you really need a car. We found many sorts of beaches: windy ones for sailing, peaceful ones for snorkelling and sunbathing, wavy ones for leaping in the surf, and even one with a hot spring for soaking in. There are impressive ruins from many periods and Kos town is great for wandering around in. What Kos lacks are the olde-worlde greek towns with narrow streets and sleepy squares, but we got a good taste of that on a day trip to Nisyros, plus saw its impressive volcano.
Altogether an excellent holiday that we would recommend to others. We hope to be back soon. August 2009 - Daniel and family Suffolk, U.K.

Leonidas and Blandine are very kind people, their welcome dinner was perfect and they was always available for every problem. The house is well set in the island, in the middle of Kos: Kardamena, Kefalos and Kos are in the surroundings. We only booked 4 nights, not knowing what a haven of peace and beauty this island and your villa would be. From the moment of arrival, your meeting at the airport, the wonderful warm welcome and the fabulous dinner, and time to converse. We have felt most "at home" since leaving New Zealand on October 21.
Everything is so well set up to just arrive and "be". Your communication was so easy in emails so we had no worries before arriving. To wake in the morning,see the ocean, the islands and in the evening the twinkling lights of Turkey. Your little book of places to see, tours to make was also a treasure . Our Summer 2008 holidays have been a perfect stay on this Greek island, definitely not our last stay there. In the meantime we have rented summerhouses or appartments in several different regions of the Mediterranean Sea, but we never had such a beautiful house and such wonderful hosts. Just one example: Blandine Stephanidis promised from the beginning to pick us up at the airport, although our flight, which was expected to arrive at 10 p.m., had a two hour delay, she welcomed us to Kos with a smile on her face at midnight and drove us safely through the night to our house. Her husband Leonidas works every day hard to maintain this wonderful green oasis in the middle of sun-burned land and entertained us with several greek anecdotes at a dinner in their house, to which we have been invited.
A beautiful beach is only 5 minutes walking distance away, also a marvelous pool of an adjacent five-star hotel, which can be used. Also some unique taverns are close by, don´t miss the Tam Tam Beach Bar and Restaurant!The location right in the middle of the northern coast is well suited for all kinds of excursions into different directions and also to adjacent islands. Kos Island is much better that what explained in most guide. The house was just fine for your family of 3 kids and 2 parents. we recommend to hire a car in order to better visit this nice island. Best hosts we have met on holiday,they could not have looked after us any better , it was as if we were old friends. The house was excelent and spotlessly clean. It is situated in a very good central position for touring around the island. Views from the house are brilliant.
Plenty of restaurants within a 5 minuet drive,if you have no car there is a reasonable bus service to local towns. We would recomend Villa Kos to all friends and relatives.
